Basic Licensee Program The Basic Licensee Program is designed for the fitness professional that wants to work with a proven physician based weight management and lifestyle program, but manage their own client base and grow an independent business. They must have access to a fitness facility approved by TFL. This can include a home gym, but each case will be evaluated individually. They will pay a $2500 licensing fee, purchase a package of materials (50 books, 50 HRM, 50 scales, literature package, BF scale, etc). The Associate Licensee will buy ALL products through TFL at wholesale and sell them at retail. This Licensee will pay TFL corporate 15% of sales of all TFL products and services. This licensee will contribute to an advertising fund at predetermined levels. These levels will be determined by how much territory they wish to own. The Basic Licensee is also able to recruit other Associates, Basic Associates, Basic Licensees and Licensees, receiving a 5% commission on licensing fees for those directly recruited as well as a 2% commission on directly recruited Associate and Basic Associate sales and .5% of directly recruited basic licensees and licensees. This level must train in the program directly at TFL corporate. This helps insure your success with your clients, and will improve your word of mouth referrals.
